Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements and related documentation.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for clients to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful transaction closings.
  • Assist clients in resolving real estate disputes and navigating complex legal challenges.
  • Stay updated on local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to Chicago and Illinois.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to clients in the professional services industry.
  • Work closely with other attorneys and teams to deliver high-quality legal services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to practice law in Illinois or eligibility to obtain such admission.
  • A strong understanding of real estate law and its application to complex transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
