Job Description

  • Advise clients on corporate governance, structuring, and compliance matters.
  • Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including financing and investment documents.
  • Support startups and venture capital firms in various stages of growth and investment.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored legal solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the professional services sector.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on equity and debt financing matters.
  • Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sophisticated corporate practice
  • Focus on startup, venture capital, or emerging company work
  • Interest in technology and/or life sciences companies
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior law firm experience required; in‑house candidates considered with prior firm experience
  • Bar admission or eligibility in the relevant jurisdiction
