The organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer Business Unit CFO for the leading business unit of the Group who will act as a key member of the Leadership Team. The person will provide strategic financial input to decision making, safeguarding financial performance, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and embedding a strong risk management culture. Job DescriptionThe CFO will serve as a strategic finance leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy, performance targets, and long‑term value creation.Lead all financial aspects of a large‑scale cement manufacturing operation, including cost control, logistics economics, depreciation, and capital‑intensive asset management.Oversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring across multiple countries and legal entities.Ensure robust governance, compliance, and internal control standards aligned with Group policies and local regulatory requirements.Play a key role in post‑merger integration activities and support M&A projects, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and execution.Actively contribute to leadership and culture development, fostering a high‑performance environment focused on purpose, people, and results.Lead and develop the finance organisation, ensuring strong succession planning, capability building, and internal promotion from the home market.Represent the finance function in Group‑level leadership forums, including top‑leader meetings and executive development programmes.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate would have:Minimum of 15+ years financial leadership experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally with asset heavy operations.University degree in Finance or similar field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or chartered Accountant are an advantageProven experience with International Digital transformation projectsDeep expertise in financial control, accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, internal controls and M&A post-merger integration.Strong business acumen with the ability to contribute to strategic decision making beyond finance.Proven experience working within Group, regional, and corporate governance structuresAdvanced understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting, performance management, and compliance.Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration skills.Advantage to have experience with decarbonisation projecsAssertive and disciplined approach to enforcing financial processes while maintaining collaborative partnerships.Fluent in German and English.
