The organization serves leading food manufacturers across EMEA with natural, value‑added ingredient solutions and is entering an important phase of commercial acceleration and organizational development.

To support this strategy, the company is seeking to appoint a Sales Director EMEA to lead and further strengthen its regional commercial organization.

Job Description



Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the EMEA region in line with global objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of 9 direct reports across Europe
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth through key account management, strategic pricing, and portfolio positioning
  • Strengthen relationships with multinational and regional customers, acting as senior commercial sponsor where required
  • Oversee distributor strategy and performance across selected markets
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, innovation, supply chain, and operations to ensure effective execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision‑making
  • Ensure strong commercial governance, forecasting accuracy, and performance management across the region

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven senior commercial leadership experience within B2B food ingredients or adjacent sectors
  • Demonstrated success leading multi‑country sales teams across Europe
  • Strong strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on, execution‑focused leadership style
  • Experience managing complex customer environments and value‑based selling models
  • Track record of developing talent and building high‑performing teams
  • Comfortable operating in an international, matrix‑driven organization
