Job Description

Reporting directly into the Chief People Officer, the Director of Human Resources will lead HR strategy and operations across North America, partnering closely with executive leadership to align people initiatives with business priorities. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building scalable HR infrastructure, strengthening leadership capability, and driving a high performing culture across a multi site manufacturing environment.

Main duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Partner with corporate and site leadership to shape and deliver HR strategy that supports business growth, operational excellence, and cultural transformation
  • Lead all HR operations across North America including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, and HR systems
  • Ensure full compliance with federal and regional employment laws including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA
  • Drive performance management and talent review processes while building a strong succession pipeline for critical roles
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and pay equity in alignment with global frameworks
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with global teams to deliver leadership development and training programs
  • Act as a visible leader to promote employee engagement, inclusion, and a values driven culture across all sites
  • Support organizational change initiatives by developing communication and adoption strategies that drive measurable results.

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced degree or HR certification (ideal but not essential)
  • 10+ years relevant human resources experience
  • Experience leading HR teams across multiple sites and working within a global environment
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and HR strategy
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change
  • Experience with HR systems and use of data to inform decisions
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive matters
  • Ability to travel, both nationally and internationally, around 20% of the time.
