Confidential opportunity for a Strategic FP&A lead in a fast-growing, data-driven ecommerce business in Boulder, partnering directly with the CFO to own forecasting, modelling, and commercial analytics. This is a high-impact role for a PE or banking-trained finance professional to build scalable financial infrastructure and influence key business decisions across a rapidly scaling organization.

Led by an experienced CFO, the business is now focused on institutionalizing its finance function and building scalable infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance a fully integrated financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Lead rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis
  • Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business
  • Analyzeecommerce andDTC performance drivers including:
    • Traffic sources
    • Conversion rates
    • Product mix
    • Average order value
  • Deliver insights that directly influence commercial and operational decisions
  • Support leadership with data-driven recommendations and performance tracking
  • Help build scalable finance processes and reporting infrastructure



The Successful Applicant

Candidate Profile:

  • Background in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or high-growth Strategic Finance
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability (must be highly hands-on)
  • Deep curiosity for data, KPIs, and commercial performance drivers
  • Experience in ecommerce, DTC, or subscription-based businesses essential
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, scaling environments
  • Strong communicator with ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
